UF leads for four-star teammates Burns, Eubanks

UF had a disappointing end to its regular season Saturday, but the night produced plenty of positives in recruiting. Florida’s south end zone bleachers were jam-packed with recruits, including defensive end Brian Burns (6-6, 220) and tight end Nick Eubanks (6-6, 230). The four-star teammates from Fort Lauderdale American Heritage were both high on the Gators despite their 27-2 loss to Florida State. Florida’s most anticipated recruiting weekend of the year is upon us, and it’s shaping up to be a big one for the Gators. UF is scheduled to have more than 50 prospects from the 2016, 2017 and 2018 classes in attendance for Saturday’s rivalry game against Florida State. Franks decommits from LSU

It’s seemingly just a matter of time before Florida lands its second quarterback for 2016. Top-100 overall recruit and early enrollee Feleipe Franks decommitted from LSU on Monday, announcing his decision on Twitter. The move doesn’t comes as a surprise following Franks’ back-to-back visits to UF this month for its home games against Vanderbilt and Florida Atlantic. Stove ‘75 percent’ committed to Auburn after visiting Gators

Florida’s recruiting efforts with Eli Stove are making headway. The Niceville wide receiver visited UF twice in the spring, but decided to commit to Auburn on May 30. Florida’s first home game in more than a month will draw top recruits to The Swamp. The Gators are set to host another impressive group of wide receivers Saturday, including a pair of Auburn commits from the state of Florida.
