    Edward,

Looking ahead to next year, the Gators will need a top flite QB to replace Brantley in 2 years. I live in Matthews NC, and the junior QB of the state champ Butler HS team here is a kid named Christian Lemay, and he has broken most if not all of Chris Leak’s state records. By all accounts, he is a top prospect for next year. Any word on whether the Gators have a shot at him?

Great update, this class is stellar!! As far as Lemay goes, he’s obviously a stud and a heavy Gator lean according to most “in the know”.

CAROLINA, Lemay’s father used to be team chaplain here at UF. He is definitely on the radar as a future prospect.

I agree with Carolina Gator … Lemay is outstanding and would make a great Gator. Nice to hear that his dad is connected to UF. Thanks for the great updates!

I’m an “old school” Gator fan stuck in LSU country. Kind of a tuff schedule coming up – - but Brantley and company will be a high powered offense and i see a 12 and 0, or at worst 11 and 1 regular season for 2010 for the orange and blue.

Big running, not blocking back, only PLEASE!!!
Look at the 2 way high school players at Florida now, ie, those who played linebacker/defensive end AND fullback/tailback in high school. BIG running backs ARE the future of SEC football, look at Alabama!! And with a great passer next year in Brantley we need a big guy who can run OVER, not around just around people. (Again see Ingram!!)

For a “go to back” to emerge we probably need to recruit more than just ONE rb. P.l.e.a.s.e.
