Jeff Driskel — Driskel was a running machine for Oviedo Hagerty, gaining 300 yards on the ground with three touchdown runs, including one for 90 yards and another for 88. He also threw two scores in Hagerty’s 36-14 win over St. Cloud.

Fullback
Hunter Joyer — Joyer led Tampa Catholic with 76 yards rushing on 12 carries in a 14-0 win over Clearwater Central Catholic.

Tight end
A.C. Leonard — Well, because Leonard is back with the Gators, I put him in the commitment area Tuesday morning. He caught six passes for 45 yards in Jacksonville University Christian’s 24-14 loss to Jacksonville Episcopal.

Wide receiver
Ja’Juan Story — Story had 19 carries for 100 yards and two touchdowns and caught a 9-yard touchdown in Brooksville Nature Coast’s 28-21 loss to Dunnellon.

Javares McRoy — Lakeland beat Davenport Ridge 41-16, but McRoy was held out because of turf toe.

Defensive back
Louchiez Purifoy — At running back, Purifoy carried the ball 19 times for 197 yards and touchdowns of 57, 49 and 11 yards in Pensacola Pine Forest’s 42-30 victory at Baton Rouge, La., Catholic.

De’Ante Saunders — Saunders continues to run all over opponents, gaining 140 yards on 25 carries. He scored touchdowns of 20 and 10 yards, but DeLand lost 28-24 to New Smyrna Beach.

Valdez Showers — Showers carried the ball only 12 times for 166 yards and touchdowns of 49, 35, 22 and 4 yards in Madison Heights, Mich.’s, 51-12 win over St. Clair.

Recruits of interest:
Running back
Mike Bellamy — I don’t think Florida is really going after him that hard anymore, but he’s just putting up sick numbers so I had to include him. Bellamy ran for 263 yards on 27 carries with four touchdowns in Charlotte’s 33-14 win over Venice. Bellamy scored on runs of 46, 46, 39 and 17 yards.

Mike Blakely — Blakely was limited because of an ankle injury, but did get 27 yards and a touchdown on five carries in Bradenton Manatee’s 24-7 win over Braden River.

Savon Huggins — Huggins carried the ball 11 times for 201 yards and five touchdowns, including two that went for 35 yards in Jersey City, N.J., St. Peter’s Prep’s 56-0 win over Bayonne.

Tre Mason — Mason had 89 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries in Lake Worth Park Vista’s 52-7 loss to West Palm Beach Dwyer.

Wide receiver
Kelvin Benjamin — Benjamin returned the opening kickoff 66 yards and then caught a 21-yard touchdown pass. He finished the night with four catches for 90 yards and a touchdown, but he also lost two fumbles on punt returns in Belle Glade Glades Central’s 35-31 loss to Dillard.

Junior Pomee — Pomee caught four passes for 92 yards and a touchdown in Moreno Valley, Calif., Rancho Verde’s 56-7 win over La Sierra.

George Farmer — Farmer caught eight passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns in Gardena, Calif., Serra’s 41-14 win over St. Francis.

Defensive line
Curt Maggitt — Maggitt had a handful of tackles and recovered a fumble for a touchdown in Dwyer’s 52-7 win over Park Vista.

Xzavier Dickson — Dickson had three sacks, batted down a pass and totaled eight tackles in Griffin, Ga.’s, 24-0 win over Union Grove.

Todd Barr — Barr had four tackles, a sack and caught one pass for 11 yards in Lakewood, Calif.’s, 40-14 win over Cabrillo.

Linebacker
Lamar Dawson — Dawson carried the ball four times for 55 yards and caught three passes for 21 yards in in Danville, Kent., Boyle County’s 45-6 win over West Jessamine.

Malcolm Mitchell — Mitchell caught eight passes for 102 yards and two touchdowns and had an interception in Valdosta’s 42-24 win over Coffee.
