Quan Bray still considering UF

Quan Bray’s recruitment might not be over just yet.

While the Lagrange, Ga., Troup athlete committed to Auburn during the Under Armour All-America Game on Jan. 5, Bray said he still plans to finish taking all of his visits. Bray has visited Auburn and Georgia, but isn’t sure where else he’ll go.

One school he is interested in seeing is Florida, which he listed as one of his finalists when he committed.

“Florida stands at the top,” Bray said of potential visit destinations. “I’ve been liking Florida ever since they started recruiting me.”

Primarily recruited by former defensive coordinator Teryl Austin, Bray said Austin’s absence won’t hurt Florida’s chances because he’s a fan of new coach Will Muschamp. Bray said he has a couple of family members who played with Muschamp in college and he’s already spoken to Muschamp a couple of times since he was hired.

Bray said Florida is recruiting him as a running back/wide receiver hybrid and while he could play defense, he prefers getting the ball in his hands.

“I can play defense, but really, I feel comfortable moving here and there,” he said. “Sitting in one spot, it’s easy for a defense to stop you.”

Bray said he’s considering visiting Alabama and LSU as well.

Though nothing might change his mind about Auburn, Bray said he would at least like to see what other schools have to offer. Even with Florida making the transition to a new coach, he’s still excited to see what Florida could offer him.

“Florida is still going to be Florida,” he said. “Muschamp coming in, he’s going to do his thing and Florida’s still going to have good coaches.

“If they let me come, I’ll come. If they don’t, I’ll just switch up another visit.”

Rivals.com ranks Bray as the No. 16 athlete in the country.

He looks like a good athlete. It would be a very solid pick up if we could get him.

BUD DA GATOR, everyone here knows you’re not a Gator and the trolling gets old. Grow up, or at least try something original. Maybe you could find a Bama board to embarrass yourself on?

That’s right Kevin. BUD is a rival troll who’s just hoping the recruit in question sees his post and gets turned off to UF. It’s an age-old tactic of trying to sabotage someone else’s recruiting. Notice how none of these guys ever showed up here until FSU managed to beat the worst UF team in over 20 years? The bandwagon nolie fans are coming out of the closet.

Oh, I’ll ignore him, but not so long as to make sure that any visiting recruit knows him for what he is. I’ll wager he has several names on this board too.

bray is good. he started in the all american game on offence, i say thats what were looking for. and i like the percy harvin hype, if he is 1/2 as good that would be way better than delontae thompson!whats not to like about another athlete on the team, also he is a good DB and we need help there, so its a win win, he will help either way

If these guys do not choose the Gators right off the bat, then we do not want them, and BTW, can this guy QUALIFY ACDEMICALLY?

Go to N. GA and look at Junior QB Chandler Register at Lambert High School as he would commit tomorrow. He is a true Gator.
