It’s a big week for Rivals, as the scouting network released its top 100 players in the nation today and will expand to 250 on Tuesday. After that, it’s the rest of the four-stars on Wednesday and some high three-stars who didn’t make the four-star cut on Thursday.

Here’s a quick breakdown of where some of the Rivals100 fall on Florida’s radar.

1. Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Springfield, Mo.The nation’s top player is a freakish athlete at 6-foot-6, which means all of the top programs (including UF) are after him. He won’t list his top schools until September.

3. D.J. Humphries, OT, Charlotte, N.C. — The Gators lead and are rolling out the red carpet to fill a position of extreme need. Humphries visited with his parents for UF’s third Junior Day on March 19 and took in practice. When UF coaches hit the road he was among the first to draw a visit, on May 2.

4. Eddie Goldman, DT, Washington, D.C. — This massive lineman (6-4, 305) boasts more than 50 offers, so the competition will be fierce. In April he made a swing through the southeast and paid a visit to the Gators with his sixth and final unofficial look-see. UF is hoping he’ll make an official visit in the fall.

5. Darius Hamilton, DE, Ramsey, N.J. — The son of former New York Giants defensive lineman Keith Hamilton says he wants to visit the Gators this summer and later for an official. He goes to the same high school as former Gator Justin Trattou and says he fell in love with UF during the Tim Tebow years.

6. Ellis McCarthy, DT, Monrovia, Calif. — Here’s another massive defensive tackle (6-4, 310) who is high on Florida. He was reportedly thrilled to get an offer from west coast recruiter Brian White in February and looks to camp in Gainesville this summer.

7. John Theus, OT, Jacksonville, Fla. — With big brother Nathan at UGA, most are expecting Theus to end up in Athens, Ga. He insists he is wide open, however, and has a lot of interest in nearby Florida. The Gators could be a close second for the best offensive tackle in the state.

8. Stefon Diggs, WR, Olney, Md. — Another coveted receiver who has offers from just about everywhere, Diggs says he wants to visit the Big Three in Florida one at a time. He hopes to narrow down his list to a top 15 sometime this summer.

9. Nelson Agholor, ATH, Tampa, Fla. — Originally recruited as a safety, Gator coaches are now offering Agholor the opportunity to play wide receiver. It’s still thought that safety would be the best position for this somewhat raw but extremely talented athlete. He visited Gainesville for the spring game in April and says he wants to cut down his list to 10 schools this summer.

13. Noah Spence, DE/LB, Harrisburg, Pa. — Florida likes this athlete for its new hybrid Buck position, and the feeling is mutual. One of the top pass-rushers in the nation, Spence is looking to visit Gainesville sometime this summer.

16. Jonathan Bullard, DE, Shelby, N.C. — Last week UF coaches D.J. Durkin and Dan Quinn dropped in on Crest High, the school that produced Brandon Spikes, to see Bullard and his teammate, safety Rhaheim Ledbetter. The two are close friends and are adamant about playing together at the next level. Bullard says he will name a top five this summer and already knows that Florida and Alabama are in it.

That’s it for Rivals’ five-star players. Of their top 17 prospects in the country, nearly all have offers from UF and about 10-12 have some interest. Here are the other top 100 players of note …
