Creek Gator, that is a very good point and sometimes other players will want to see who has committed. I like those players because they have handled all their recruitment in a businesslike manner. This is what you want because going to class, practice, film study, weight lifting and individual workouts have to be likewise. They will need to adhere to schedules with discipline or they will not survive. The players that have offers can come and help win championships because of team work not “me work”. Here is the truth in any team sport- Prima Donnas rarely bring championships and these guys seem like “hard hat and work boots” type of players. Go Gators

Hell of a list DUKE1906, but do you think these kids are holding out to see how much better the class is going to get?? They should know by NOW how much better the class would be if they included themselves. They know they are a valued commodity and are trying to see where they fit. You have given them the GREAT senario as to where they fit on this TEAM, Thanks !!! Go Gators !!!!

Well my wish list for the 2013 class additions are WR- Marquez North, RB – Alex Collins, DT- Montravius Adams and CB - Mackensie Alexander. Marq North reminds me of Frankie Neal with his speed, power and physical play. Alex Collins reminds of Fred Taylor with his power and speed (home-run threat) which we haven’t had since Percy Harvin. Mon Adams will add depth and competition. Mack Alexander will be our punt returner, nickel-back, add to our blitz and dime packages. These guys will add playmakers to both sides of the football. To win championships every team will need to have at least 3 playmakers on defense as well as offense. Check our NC (96,06 and 08) teams.

James... no, UF has it's OL class, not unless Tunsil suddenly commits. No way you could turn him away, but UF has 13 or 14 serviceable OL for next year, which a great.

As for the WR Robinson at Clemson and Walker at Bama, I have no problem with Muschamp continuing to recruit them. It's how he bagged the USC-e LB as well as Fowler last year too.

Then there's WR James Grant, and IMO, we should offer and get this kid. He's special IMO, not to mention a seriously dangerous KO/P return threat and would be great running the jet sweeps after patton plays his sr. year next season.

Any more updates on Brissett....staying or going? Seems to me that the Gators should ask him to stay, redshirt him next year (as Georgia did with their backup QB this year) and tell him he will be the starter his senior year....and learn till then. I think that would be a smart move for Brissett as well, as he would have to sit for a year if he transfers...with no guarantees to play either at his new residence. Brissett, if he redshirts and stays, would be the obvious starter his senior year at Florida...and plenty of time to impress the NFL scouts with that one year of production.

I would think Stephen Alli has taken up enough roster room already, and I believe he graduates early anyway. Open up a spot for Robinson or Clark with him leaving the team and going on to gradulate school.

With Patchen leaving is there any chance the Gators go after another OL?

TJ,
Max Garcia will likely be a guard next season, and Tyler Moore is willing to play there as well. UF should be fine inside.

J,
I expect there to be 2-3 more transfers. There's a number of possible candidates, I wrote about them a few weeks ago ... http://recruiting.blogs.gatorsports.com/14406/max-number-of-signees-possible-transfers-for-uf/

James,
Hatcher is interested, but he's still committed to USC and also likes in-state schools Louisville and Kentucky. So the Gators have their work cut out for them.
