Ryeshene Bronson was the best receiver in the Under Armour Underclassmen Combine last Friday.

The 2014 Florida commit was named one of the top performers by ESPN and had the highlight of the day on a one-handed touchdown reception. You can watch the catch and comments from ESPN national recruiting analyst Craig Haubert HERE.

On the recruiting front, Bronson said his relationship with UF coach Will Muschamp is strong as ever and he was impressed by Florida’s 2012 season.

“To take a team that wasn’t doing so well and bring them up, I wasn’t kind of surprised,” said the Fort Myers Dunbar prospect. “We should have won that bowl game, just a couple opportunities missed. We just need big-time playmakers and I feel like I’m that person to get them over the hump.”

The 6-foot-3, 183-pounder was in Gainesville on Dec. 15 to watch the Gators practice and visit with new receivers coach Joker Phillips.

But it wasn’t the first time they’ve met.

“I met him my freshman year when (my school) went to Kentucky and he was the head coach there,” Bronson said. “So me and him already had a relationship and I think when I get on campus it’s going to be even better.”

Bronson said he’s still being recruited by Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, Miami, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and USC.

While he plans to take visits and is open to what those schools have to say, he doesn’t appear to be wavering on his UF pledge.

“I’m 100 percent committed, it’s in my heart,” Bronson said. “I’ve been loyal to them since the summer of my 10th grade year all the way through my junior year. I’m a Gator for life.”
