Tyler Murphy: I hear of his speed and beautiful spiral passes and I’ve been waiting to see him play. I love my Gators, but if I’m him I would transfer. I can only wonder why he didn’t do so last year. The QB position is Jeff’s ‘barring injury.” The backup position has been just as elusive…and do you really want to settle for backup – at best – on a team that rarely plays their backup? I can understand loving UF and relationships with people, but this is business. Get somewhere and get on the field in some capacity. Your opportunity to do so is winding down fast Tyler.

I just hope we can land two of the DL on the board. Adams, Bostwick, Reed, Daniel, Jones, and/or Nkemdiche.
Then add Collins, Clark, and Ramsey or Alexander.
I know thats 6 but someone else will transfer.

Zach-looks like we may have a solid chance of landing Nkemdiche with this weekend’s visit-hopefully the coaching staff & the host players can take a page from Coach Donovan’s playbook and put the full court press on. On another note-why doesn’t the staff give Tyler Murphy a chance to win the job? Seems like he has been a good team soldier & waited his time and should be given a chance to start or at least play some. He’s been the practice player for the scout team, never complains, & seems to love playing for UF. Seems only fitting that he should at least be given a shot. I mean he can’t be that bad, can he?! He can be a change of pace guy when they need an offensive spark, especially since noone in the SEC has seen him play. Just a thought…Go Gators!! C’mon down Robert! You could man the other side opposite Ronald Powell. Can u see it? Powell, yourself, Dante Fowler, & Jonathan Bullard??! Now THAT is a winning combination!!!

CBS Sports reporting that the #1 Player in the Nation is taking an official this weekend and that UF is in serious consideration. Any word on even a chance he pulls away from Ole Miss?

I’d guess he has been told we have other targets above him but if it comes down to it, we would accept him in the class, just not right now…so, NSD is a possibility.

Great job Zach. Man ypu always do a great job of keeping the fans informed. I see that Robert Nkemdiche is visiting this weekend, 1-18. Do you think it’s because of the friendships that he developed with the UF commits at the UA game? I have not seen him mention UF much at all during his recruitment. Thanks Zach. Get ‘em Gators.

My gut tells me we get Adams, Daniel and Clark to finish this class. I wouldn’t mind seeing us get Alexander in place of Daniel though.
