Students show up for the game?

Well, it will largely depend on how much alcohol they consume before the game….which is generally more than human beings should. Or if they can finish the latest steal a car and blow up the world video game in time.

    Priorities, you know.

That list looks good. I hope we get our offense going early and score a ton of points on Saturday. Go Gators!

ChoppaStyle, I hope so too, but history says we play it safe and conservative, draining the play clock between plays, “Stall Ball” if you will. When we do score lots of points its been the result of the defense forcing turnovers and/or special teams play; I say play like every game is a MUST WIN, MUST IMPRESS and stop with the Jekyll and Hyde offensive approach (doing just enough to get by)…otherwise, we’re going to continue to not develop playmakers and drain the mystic of The Swamp as more and more prefer to watch the games on television. HUGE weekend, hope we show up and show out! Go Gators!

All these kids have won close games and lost blowouts. Winning and losing means nothing to them. If they’re on official visits, we need them to be impressed by the student support systems, the campus atmosphere, on-and-off the field coaching demeanor. Recruiting is about relationship and comfort level far more than it is about football games. That said, when it is about football, they’ll be looking at scheme-fit more than anything.
