The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder took an official visit to Gainesville this past weekend after decommitting from N.C. State on Jan. 15.
“It was fun,” Smith told the Orlando Sentinel’s Chris Hays of his visit to UF. “We got to see the new facilities and stuff they are building and got to actually see around the campus.”
With the addition of Smith, the third linebacker in the 2017 class to commit to the Gators, Florida has 15 verbal commitments with National Signing Day just four days away.
