Florida’s 2019 class added a verbal commitment from four-star defensive back Tyrique Stevenson.
Stevenson, a 6-foot, 175-pounder out of South Dade High in Homestead (Fl.), announced his decision on his Twitter account.
Florida coach Jim McElwain confirmed Stevenson’s commitment on Twitter with the “GATA19” hashtag.

After picking up a scholarship offer from Florida nearly two weeks ago, Stevenson took unofficial visits last weekend to UCLA and USC.
Stevenson is expected to arrive in Gainesville today for Florida’s Orange and Blue Debut game.

With Stevenson’s commitment, which is non-binding until he signs a letter of intent, the Gators have four commitments in the 2019 class.
