Gators expecting several prospects for Junior Day

With Florida’s Junior Day set for Saturday, the Gators coaching staff is expected to host several highly recruited prospects on campus this weekend. The Gators are expecting a pair of running backs today in Jashaun Corbin (Melbourne, Fl.) and Iverson Clement (Mount Holly, N.J.). Corbin, a three-star prospect by 247Sports, received a scholarship offer from the Gators on March 9. Florida’s first “Junior Day” for the 2018 class attracted several prospects in the Rivals and 247Sports composite rankings. But despite having 23 scholarship offers, offensive tackle John Campbell remains unranked by 247Sports, Rivals and Scout. Over the past month, the Gators Florida have picked up two commitments in the 2018 class. And with the first Junior Day since National Signing Day arriving, the Gators are looking to further evaluate some prospects on their recruiting board. After inking 23 players in the 2017 class to letters of intent, the Gators have turned their recruiting efforts to the 2018 class.
