National Signing Day is just a little more than a week away, which means fans are scrambling.

Before we know it,
Florida will have yet another top 10 recruiting class.
It’s
hard for anyone to compete with the Gators at this point. Sure,
everyone has their football recruits visit basketball games, but how
many schools have recruits visit basketball games during a national
championship celebration?

Forget the fact that Florida has lost three recruits in the last two weeks – two after the national championship. This class will still be one of the best.
Sure, the losses of Valdosta, Ga., Lowndes cornerback Greg Reid, Deland running back Mike Gillislee and Broomfield, Co., Legacy defensive end Nick Kasa hurt, but there is still just under a month left of recruiting and winning it all can only help this team in the coming weeks.

Television is becoming the wave of the future for recruiting, especially for Florida.
No, it’s not the “Gator Nation” ads or even the Gatorade commercials, which actually are a great recruiting tool because they are shown during pretty much every major sports event that’s broadcast on TV. The subtle secret to UF’s success the past few years has been with all-star games.
