Gators on the road in full force following dead period

With the dead period come and gone, the Gators hit the road in full force Thursday to see more than 30 prospects left on their board. Coach Jim McElwain and defensive line coach Chris Rumph are in the Tampa area visiting a pair of Gators commits, wide receiver Daquon Green and running back Malik Davis. Gators DB commit Shawn Davis no longer a mid-year enrollee

The Gators had hoped to sign a half-dozen mid-year enrollees, but their plans have taken a hit at the last minute. According to multiple sources, three-star defensive back Shawn Davis (Miami Southridge) is a credit short of meeting Florida’s eligibility requirements and must make up a class in the Spring semester. Predicting Florida’s 2017 class

With National Signing Day nearly three weeks away, Gators coach Jim McElwain and his staff are looking to solidify the 2017 class. The Gators currently have 15 commitments in the 2017 class, including a half-dozen mid-year enrollees who arrived on campus last week. UF’s 2017 class adds six mid-year enrollees

With less than four weeks until National Signing Day, Florida’s 2017 class continues to take shape. The Spring semester is underway and classes are back in session, meaning Florida’s six mid-year enrollees have arrived in Gainesville. 4* WR James Robinson sets official visits, talks Gators and Oklahoma

  ORLANDO — James Robinson’s recruitment has become less fuzzy heading into the home stretch. Florida releases final plan for $60 million standalone football complex

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida released a finalized report Monday for the upcoming standalone football complex. The 56-page summary details the 130,000-square-foot complex that will be located on the north end of James G. Pressly Stadium.
